We know, at this clinic, how much people suffer with tinnitus and hyperacusis. These sound files are meant to allow you to enjoy some relief from the intrusion of chronic tinnitus, or to help you recover your sound tolerance levels if you have hyperacusis.

We highly recommend you pursue professional evaluation and assessment if you have tinnitus and hyperacusis. If, like the vast majority of people who do have tinnitus, you cannot find an easy 'fix' to your situation, SoothEars™ might become a very valuable tool in your repertoire of "Things That Help".

Spend some time browsing through our sound files to see which sound-files help you the most, listening to the samples and discovering which ones offer you the most relief or masking effect. Remember these are downloadable files and then the file is 'yours' and you can load it onto a personal listening device or onto a cd and use in many settings. Please note that we have certain SoothEars™ that have a particular frequency 'boost' or flavor that might fit with your own tinnitus needs (currently we offer 3, 4, 5 and 6 kHz Boost files).

Do be careful to use these files at safe levels of listening loudness. Listening to any sound of 85 dB for more than 8 hours per day can potentially cause hearing loss. Be sure to listen to the sounds at a comfortable level and do use different ones for different times of day or activities.
